Hello everyone!! It feels like it has been a lifetime since I have sat down and written a post. So where do I start?
First of all, I have quit slimming world. This wasn’t an easy decision but my group and the consultant just weren’t working for me. I got into a really unhealthy way of thinking about food and how I was eating. Although many people will say that Slimming World isn’t a restrictive dining plan I felt that it was. It does teach you that you can eat and feel full and still lose weight but I feel that only being able to eat certain foods that were slimming world approved was impractical and often I would skip meals. Strangely since I have stopped slimming world I have continued to lose weight and I don’t feel as much pressure to do so. I haven’t lost as much weight as I wanted to for our trip to Walt Disney World and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed in myself but it is what it is, I have bought some bigger shorts than the ones I was intending to get into and am preparing to put my big girl pants on and still smile in all the photographs!!
Our Walt Disney World trip is only 3 days away!!!! We fly out this Friday and we are all over excited, Caroline’s case is packed already!! I am going to film a video of me packing my case and hopefully this will be up before we set off!
It feels like we booked our trip an absolute life time away and so much has happened since we booked it. Both Caroline & I moved out of London to different towns and we both miss each other and Sarah so much! Other things have happened some of which I am just not ready to talk about just yet but take it from me, it has been a ROUGH year.
I know that when I walk into the Magic Kingdom with my two best friends the happy tears will fall as I have been waiting so long for this trip and I just can’t wait to share it with my two best friends!
