Hayley’s Christmas Beauty Haul!

_DSC0361

Christmas is over and boy have I been on the nice list! I have been so lucky to receive some amazing presents for Christmas and I also topped the haul up with the great offers that have been on. There are so many great offers on make up around Christmas, to be honest its the only real time I can afford to buy the premium brands so I store up my boots/debenhams/superdrug points and then spend away in the sales! I am not doing this post to brag at all, I like reading these posts to see what other people got (yes I am nosey!) so I thought I would write about what I was lucky enough to receive/purchase.

So let’s get into it! There are a lot of lip products here but they are my favourite. Matt’s lovely family bought me the Tarte lipgloss set, it has 15 (yes 15…I KNOW RIGHT!!) they are mini’s but the colours are amazing and they are long lasting. The Ted Baker set (no link as it’s sold out!) you can see is also from Matt’s family but the lipsticks are so good. They feel really luxurious are very pigmented and look gorgeous on, even if I do say so myself! Matt’s Grandparents spoilt me with the bareMinerals Whimsical Wonders set. I am a huge fan of bareMinerals so this was a lovely treat, I have tried a couple of shades and they are amazing. I may have treated myself to one more set of lip glosses in the Christmas Eve sale… I bought myself the Art Colour Love Lips set. I somehow managed to get it at the crazy cheap price of £6.94 before it sold out online at boots. The last set of lip glosses I had from Smashbox were from a similar Christmas set but from 2014 and they haven’t disappointed me at all.

Eye products. As my main present from Matt I received the Art Love Colour Master Class, we did buy this on Boxing Day in the sale as I knew it was too expensive to ask for at full price. I also bought the eyeshadow pallet from Smashbox’s 2014 Christmas collection and it is so pigmented and I love all the colours so I know I won’t be disappointed with the quality of the pallet. I may wait a while to use this pallet but I am so excited to have it in my collection. My mum & dad travelled to the USA and I received a set of elf’s define your eyes brushes, these look a little scary as I’m still such a learner with eye make up but I am looking forward to trying them. I also received the Elf Baked Pallet  the colours couldn’t be anymore me and I’m sure they will look great. Caroline also spoiled me with the No. 7 Eyeshadow Pallet (No link as it is also sold out). It has a HUGE mirror which is great and all of the shades look amazing, I haven’t tried them yet but I have a feeling they will be a regular upon my eyes. To finish off the Eye products section I purchased the bareMinerals Double Domination Mascara Duo pack at the bargain price of £11.99 and already I am in love with it, will definitely be repurchasing when it is finished.

Face products. I have been eyeing up the bareMinerals Deluxe Original Mineral Veil Finishing Powder since it appeared in the shops. It was calling my name, tempting me  with its pretty packaging and flawless promises but the £35 price tag meant it was never coming home with me. So when I saw it in the sale for £23.50 I decided it was time to claim this wonderful product and hopefully improve the appearance of my face & make up! I cannot wait to use it! Mum and Dad also bought me from the Elf range a make up removing pen, I am not someone who can do my make up flawlessly first time round with no mistakes so this idea seems great.

I don’t really buy luxury brands at any other time of the year other than Christmas or in the sales as to be honest they are just out of my budget. So Christmas is when I save up and treat myself in the sales and I am beyond happy with my haul this year and cannot wait to use them. If you want to see swatches or reviews of anything that I bought please comment and I will do a new post. What did you get for Christmas?
